1) We're going to have Den Meetings every Monday
night from now on, year round. The only cancellations
will be for Summer Camp, Pack Meetings, requests made
by St. David's church and bad weather.
2) We're going to have one Pack / Parent's Meeting on Monday, April 30th beginning at 6:00 pm. this will be the time to show us what you're doing and then to tell us what we as leaders can do better to make the program the best possible. After that, we're going back to calling them Committee Meetings beginning in May.
3) The calendar is kept up-to-date, but key events will have specific leaders. Notices from the leader of that event shall take precedence.
4) We are beginning a new round of recruiting. Please get the word to your Cub Scouts to beging "talking it up" at school.
We will discuss these and all considerations at the Pack / Parent's Meeting.
Thank you for supporting Pack 6!

Pack Fishing Event Scheduled!
April 02, 2007
On Saturday April 21 at Slater Park in Pawtucket starting at 9:00am, we will all get a chance to do some fresh water fishing with the help of a pair of experts in this area. Ron Thibaudeau (Tom Struminsky's brother-in-law) and Mike Laptew will give a complete demonstration. This will be geared to the adults as well as the Cub Scouts. They are walking encyclopedias of fishing knowledge. 9AM may seem late for fishing, but still so early in the season, the trout should be biting. (Trount season opening day is the 14th which is a free-for-all madhouse.) The pond is stocked with trout and the Cub Scouts should be able to catch something. Plan on a few hours at least.
Be aware, school April vacation is the 16th-20th so this is on the Saturday before they go back to school.
Adults (16 and older) require a fishing license. Ron is going to check on licensing so that in case an attending adult does not have one, we will be covered.
