Just Like Magic! Pack Meeting 28-April

On April 28th at 6:30pm, we will hold a Rally Night like we did last September. The theme of “Just like Magic!” will be sure to energize our group by encouraging the neighbors in our community to bring new members into our pack. We encourage anyone who has any experience with magic to talk to their den leader. This is your chance to perform in front of a live audience! More details to follow in this space!

Den/Pack Meeting Plan for April 14th

To all parents: unless your den has a regularly-scheduled meeting planned, Cubmaster Bob will hold a seminar Monday, April 14th - "FISHING!" The topic will cover the basics of freshwater fishing for various types of fish, the items needed for packing a tackle box, bait types and how to bait a hook.  Casting techniques using closed and open reels will be demonstrated as well.

Pack 6 Announcement

Character_Counts9
Dear Parents,

I am very pleased to inform you that we are having a stellar year in terms of Cub Scout participation and attendance at our scheduled events. The scouts in Pack 6 are enjoying a variety of activities because we have parents and leaders who are committed to helping all the boys achieve as much as possible. Our five dens are keeping busy individually to help the cub scouts grow while the units as a whole are helping Pack 6 to grow! Our little community is working better than ever to achieve success for all of our boys.

Weekly den meetings have proven to be the key component of our program. To this end we will continue to produce meetings with the help of leaders and parent volunteers who wish to continue the program right through the summer! There will be no additional dues or fees; all we need is your continued support! We understand there may be some fall-out due to summer vacations and camping activities - this is not unexpected. However, for those parents who wish to continue the program for their scouts the door is open for additional possibilities in terms of the overall scouting experience, personal advancement and awards. See our online calendar for details!

Soon the dynamics within Pack 6 will change yet again. On April 28th at 6:30pm, we will hold a Rally Night like we did last September. The theme of “Just like Magic!” will be sure to energize our group by encouraging the neighbors in our community to bring new members into our pack. I want to encourage anyone who has any experience with magic to talk to their den leader. This is your chance to perform in front of a live audience! Additional information with updates will be posted on our website so get ready to have a great time!

We’re just getting started!
